Good news! Guangzhou Hanfang, the supporting organization of the Engineering Center, was successfully selected into the List of Collaborative Calibration Laboratories of National Pharmaceutical Reference Materials
In September 2022, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control issued a notice on the List of Collaborative Calibration Laboratories of National Pharmaceutical Reference Materials in accordance with the requirements of its Collaborative Calibration Management Procedure of National Pharmaceutical Reference Materials, and updated the list of laboratories currently participating in the collaborative calibration of national pharmaceutical reference materials. Guangzhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Guangzhou Hanfang”) was successfully selected into the newly released list of 225 laboratories by virtue of its long-term exploration and outstanding performance in the field of traditional Chinese medicine extraction and separation and pharmaceutical axunge.

The Engineering Center won the Gold Medal of the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva
In 2022, the National Engineering Research Center for Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and New Drug Development of Guangzhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Engineering Center”) won the Gold Medal of the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, founded in 1973, is one of the world’s longest and largest invention exhibitions) by virtue of its project “The Way of Inheritance and Innovation of Ganoderma Lucidum”. In this project, the Engineering Center carried out modern R&D of Ganoderma lucidum by using supercritical CO2 extraction, fingerprint, emulsification and other cutting-edge technologies, to increase its application and transformation in traditional Chinese medicine extraction, quality control, and new preparations. The Engineering Center launched a series of products with unique advantages and functions to enhance immunity, alleviate physical fatigue, and prevent cancer, and obtained 9 patents for invention and a number of scientific and technological honors. This participation and award of gold medal further expanded the product development and inheritance of Ganoderma lucidum, and kept the road of innovative and fashionable traditional Chinese medicine.

The Engineering Center won the Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021
The National Engineering Research Center for Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and New Drug Development (“Engineering Center”) won the Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021 by virtue of its project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Full Chain Precision Analysis and Quality Control of Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine in Lingnan Area”.

The National Engineering Research Center was included into the new sequence management by the National Development and Reform Commission
Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission completed the optimization and integration of national engineering research centers and national engineering laboratories, and printed and distributed the list of 191 national engineering research centers included into the new sequence management. The “National Engineering Research Center for Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and New Drug Development” led by Guangzhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“National Engineering Research Center”) was successfully included into the new sequence management after many tests.
