In 2022, the National Engineering Research Center for Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and New Drug Development of Guangzhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Engineering Center”) won the Gold Medal of the 48^th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, founded in 1973, is one of the world’s longest and largest invention exhibitions) by virtue of its project “The Way of Inheritance and Innovation of Ganoderma Lucidum”. In this project, the Engineering Center carried out modern R&D of Ganoderma lucidum by using supercritical CO₂ extraction, fingerprint, emulsification and other cutting-edge technologies, to increase its application and transformation in traditional Chinese medicine extraction, quality control, and new preparations. The Engineering Center launched a series of products with unique advantages and functions to enhance immunity, alleviate physical fatigue, and prevent cancer, and obtained 9 patents for invention and a number of scientific and technological honors. This participation and award of gold medal further expanded the product development and inheritance of Ganoderma lucidum, and kept the road of innovative and fashionable traditional Chinese medicine.
